The perks you need to craft a jetpack modification don't change regardless of which type of armor you use.
For X-01 Power Armor, you need ten Aluminum, seven Adhesive, nine Asbestos, and 12 Nuclear Material.
For T-60 Power Armor, you need nine Aluminum, five Adhesive, eight Asbestos, and ten Nuclear Material. For T-51 Power Armor, you need eight Aluminum, five Adhesive, six Asbestos, and nine Nuclear Material. For T-45 Power Armor, you need six Aluminum, four Adhesive, five Asbestos, and seven Nuclear Material. The materials you need to craft a jetpack differ depending on which type of power armor you use. You need a few materials to craft a jetpack, and you also have to unlock a few perks. Power Armor Torsos are the specific type of piece that you can upgrade with a jetpack. Once there, you can craft new upgrades for your power armor, including jetpacks. Travel to a Power Armor Station and interact with it you can find a Power Armor Station at the Red Rocket Truck Stop that you encounter shortly after leaving Vault 111.
